So glad we picked th... read more First night in Nuremberg... our plane arrived quite late so we booked a table online just before arriving so we knew we had someone to eat. So glad we picked this place as our first experience of Nuremberg. Rustic cosy feel to the place... lots of wood carving decorations which added to the charm. We ordered beers and wine... all of which were local... the waiter gave his recommendations and they were spot on. For food we had the traditional Nuremberg sausage platter, very good and the smoked sausages were the best I had on my visit. My partner had venison goulash which was also very nice. The best part was our waiter... very welcoming and chatty, my partner is trying to learn German and the waiter was very happy to help and correct him. We enjoyed afew schnapps with him... including a hazelnut one... could have drank the bottle. Felt very welcome and happy in this restaurant.... defiantly one to recommend.
