The hotel is very centrally located, in the old town, but still well on foot to the Plärrer to get there with the ÖPMV. It was still very quiet there, with him in summer, with open window, maybe different. The rooms have not been modernized for some time, and I had a real single room that is becoming more and more rare. But everything was fine, clean, breakfast was good with a lot of choice. What Alois Ullrich doesn't like about Steichele:
We had orders for lunch and Lumberjack Steak. Both foods were lukewarm. The steak was partly black on the edge, the roast potatoes too, the sauce tasted after the box. I've rarely eaten sooo bad. View all feedback.
Steichele is always a good choice to eat regional and high quality foods. In addition, the house has an excellent wine card.
Rare so delicious lamb eaten. A really friendly service. You feel welcome as a guest. We're coming back!
Nice place with good Franconian cuisine. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Can only recommend the restaurant!
We were in a Saturday night with six people, two of them. Very friendly and helpful service (children's card, painter). The food was very delicious and both meat and fish dishes impeccable. The wine was also of high quality. Everything in a friendly atmosphere. You're welcome.
On Thursday evening (April 20) we were five with you on the recommendation of the Slow Food Guide to dinner. And not satisfied! Reasons: Unfortunately, the nice service power (from Slovenia) was rather overwhelmed due to its lack of German knowledge. When choosing food and beverages, she could not advise us. For the fact that the asparagus soup desired by two friends was completely salted and had to be returned, she could of course nothing. The coffee or liquor offered by a colleague then as an apology and comfort never came to the table (although certainly not really desired). Nevertheless, the soups ended up on the bill! Just like the tap water, which we perceived in a total bill of more than 100 euros as, to the least, ambiguity. Unfortunately, I have failed to protest loudly and clearly in place and to request a corrective of the invoice. Our nice service would not have understood me; she was a little sorry.
