You better book your table before to go. Seems like this place is very popular. And I can understand why. It has cozy and warm atmosphere, measured but not slow service, and friendly attitude to guests.

Excellent night for good italian food, good unexpensive wine and conversation with spouses and business partners. Service is provided by owners who are not looking to make friends but not unfriendly, just serious about doing their job. Second time there and planning to go again soon

I can't believe the raving reviews of this place. The waiters were SO SO rude, besides being unprofessional (we had to flag them down 700 times and even when they came to the table they didn't bother to ask if we wanted anything). Food mediocre, pasta with tomato sauce with burnt garlic (my guest noticed, how embarassing), wine list inexistent...The local Germans seem to like this place but having grown up in Italy - I am not coming back and would not reccomend to anyone.

Mangiare come a Roma, senza compromessi dovuti ai gusti tedeschi! Vai Ugo, sei grande! This is the only place where you have real Italian food in Germany, with no adaptations. Try the "cacio e pepe" pasta and you will be sitting in the heart of Rome!

The food here is excellent and reasonably priced. Two of us had saltimbocca, perfectly cooked with prosciutto and sage and a delicious sauce. My grandson had a superb pasta - a small serve for a child happily catered for. And my son in law, entrecôte that he found very satisfactory.We all tucked into desserts, again with relish. We ate early and the restaurant was full by the time we left at 7. It's clearly very popular so you might need to book.Definitely worth a try
