During the journey, we made a stop... read more Description of the facts: Last Wednesday, January 1, two adults and a child left from Huesca to Sabayés, leaving before noon. During the journey, we made a stop in Nueno, where we stopped to consume the following foods and drinks in “a place”: • 2 rods • 1 orangeade • 1 serving of tails • 1 serving of bravas When paying, we made a comment to the establishment staff due to the strange flavor and texture we noticed in the bravas. Later, we continue our way to Sabayés, we arrive at Salto de Roldán, and we return to Huesca. Each of us went directly home to eat with our respective families. That same night, the three of us who went up to Sabayés experienced serious discomfort: • The two adults presented diarrhea and general malaise. • The child suffered vomiting and diarrhea. However, it should be noted that the rest of our relatives, who remained at home and did not consume in the same place, did not present any similar symptoms. Could it be the air of the Sierra de Guara? We understand that managing a restaurant establishment should not be an easy task, but we would like to remember that serving food in good condition is not an extra or a detail , but rather the bare minimum that is expected of any establishment. Interestingly, when clients with experience in the hospitality sector warn about the questionable taste of a dish, it is not a suggestion to innovate, but rather a call for attention that should be taken seriously. It may be tempting to downplay complaints, but ignoring them only highlights a lack of interest in improving and ensuring the safety of those who rely on the service. We hope that this incident serves, at the very least, as an opportunity to reflect on the responsibility that comes with offering quality food and the value of listening to customers, especially those who know what they are talking about.
