A restaurant, that from the outside didn't let us expect this fantastic evening and french cuisine. Each serving was a new adventure. An evening, that will be in our memory for a long time. View all feedback.
What Gilles Bertrand doesn't like about La Ciboulette:

La Cioulette is conveniently located at the exit roundabout from the autoroute. We had set menus and the food was excellent eg. Asparagus mouse for starter, fillet of beef for main and a choice of cheeses or desert. Watch out however, as when the bill...came it had 3 separate taxes, VAT, food tax and alcohol tax. So the set menu price of 34 euros is not the final price you pay.

I am vegetarian, while my partner is not, and so when the server sort of intimated that vegetarians...are difficult to cater for , we should have gone . Only two tables occupied, on a saturday , the decor needing a refresh and the food lacking imagination and especially taste, though the dessert was good . We shall not be coming back.
Why so many things on the plate?! Every dish seemed to be complicated, with added sides that did not belong, making the plate full but the dish less tasty or apetising. A pity.
Not many good restaurants in this area. This is one of them. Great menu. Nicely presented. Great food. Would recommend.
We were staying at a chateau down the road and this made a great change. This little gem was so unassuming from the outside and then it’s full blown table cloths and fine dining! Very attentive staff, food out of this World, felt like I...should have been in London or Paris, for a small off the beaten track restaurant it was amazing. Highly recommend. Don’t go if you have a plain pallet or expect to see chips!
