Reviews summary
At Nowra’s Bowling Club Chinese, bold, authentic Chinese–Thai flavors meet generous portions and smart presentation. Towering butterflied king prawns and fresh, well-balanced stir-fries headline a menu praised for consistency and excellent value—especially the lunchtime specials. Friendly, attentive front-of-house service and a comfortable club setting make it popular for special occasions and weekday lunches. Expect bustling midweek trade and limited parking during busy periods, but overall the food quality, freshness and warm service keep diners returning.

The best king prawn dish I've ever tried! The prawns are enormous and butterflied perfectly fresh. There's a great balance of shrimp and vegetables, and the flavors are delicious without being overly oily. I will definitely return! View all feedback.

The food is delicious and well-prepared, featuring a great menu with reasonable prices and excellent value. They offer appealing lunch specials, and the service is friendly. While parking can be challenging during busy times, overall, it's a fantastic dining experience.
The service, price and freshness of this Chinese is great. It has become our new favourite. The ladies in the front of house are always lovely and very helpful.
Celebrated a family birthday there! Quick service for table of 10! Awesome options for Vegos! Food was fresh!
This restaurant has been our go-to spot for special occasions for several years now. You can always count on their food to be an authentically prepared Chinese-Thai menu, far removed from the overly sweetened imitation versions you often find elsewhere. The quality and presentation of the dishes are always delightful.

We had a basic banquet here for 10 people not enough food for 10 people then they forgot the last 2 meals
The Nowra Bowling Club Chinese is a good feed. Their lunchtime special is definitely too good to miss. The food is always fresh and cooked with lots of flavour. For less than $40 my hubby and I went and shared a decent size entree and a main meal each. I had Satay chicken and fried rice my hubby had chilli and garlic beef with fried rice all for under $40. Wednesday is usually busy.
