The brisket was amazing! We had the tacos and the brisket burger. The tacos were really good. The burger was just brisket on a bun with an American cheese slice which was kinda disappointing because the brisket was just so good. Basically we just picked the meat off the bun and ate it by itself. Next time we'll stick with the tacos or just get meat by itself. View all feedback.
What Frederick Johnson doesn't like about Factory South Tampa Bbq:
The food is fairly good, but wildly overpriced. We got the half plate with all 4 meats and it was 49. Ribs, brisket, and pork were tasty. The chicken had a texture we found unpleasant, but that was personal preference. We wanted to try the sauces and there was a .75 charge for each one which seems nuts at a BBQ restaurant. Hands down the WORST meal I've had in Tampa! I had high hopes for this place based on the menu, reviews and how crowded the parking lot always was. The BBQ Brisket Tacos were a complete disaster with very little meat and literally drenched in bbq sauce. The 1/2 lb Burger was just as terrible with most of the meat being left over chunks of chewy/fatty pieces. The only edible part of the burger was sadly the bun and bacon it came with. The 2 stars are for the service and the roasted potato salad. Don't buy into the hype or be fooled by the reviews and crowded parking lot.

This was one of my favorite lunch places already. A little pricey, but worth it.They recently added a lunch menu that adds a ton of value!!Definitely worth it!They bring you water with fruit, and mint, and no bottle is ever the same. Refreshing, and tasty!They have prime rib on Friday evenings, and that is on my to do list with my wife!!I am always pleased to see David at the bar at lunch time. Very friendly, and a wonderful representative for the restaurant!!
Last minute plans but we’ll worth it. The atmosphere and FOOD oh my gosh “THE FOOD” was excellent wish we could have tried everything. We order the brisket and chicken should have gotten the platter.
Factory 4914 has to be the best barbecue we have ever had. Decided to try it on Christmas eve.. Rustic classy restaurant with awesome food. Even the water is served with mint infused, very tasty and refreshing. We ordered full rack baby back ribs and brisket which were perfectly cooked and delicious! You can try different sauces. For sides we had roasted vegetables and Au gratin potatoes. The sides were large enough portions to share and were amazing. The au gratin potatoes were cheesy with gouda cheese. The vegetables were fire roasted and so good. We will definitely be back. It was pretty pricey which is only drawback but highly recommended! They cater too.
