Mixed reviews from guests include outstanding appetizers, under-seasoned entrees, and inconsistent drink service. Some highlight the attentive waitstaff and well-executed dishes, while others express disappointment in overrated wine, small portions, and unimpressive flavors. Really expected at least a happy birthday greeting for my husband as it was a reservation with the comment. The restaurant was completely empty. Nice place. Charc board and garlic cheese rolls were excellent. My meal was just ok honestly . The meatballs that beat bobbly flay were very porky and didn’t balance nicely with the beef. The sauce was really lack luster. Husband thought his short rib risotto was fine. The waiter/bartender was very pleasant and made a great cosmo . Just wasn’t worth the hype from the reviews and being on the Michelin guide for Tampa restaurants…
Awesome as always. Chef Michael continues to show creative flavors and styles to his dishes. The eggplant is always amazing and something you will only find here. A must visit.
First visit for us. A very nice experience there. The wait staff attentive and but not hovering. We started with a goat cheese and fig appetizer. It 's not listed in the online menu. I ordered the rustic bolognese and my girlfriend ordered theBronzini. We both agreed that the appetizer was good but it was missing something. I mentioned honey and she agreed. Iguess it 's just personal preference. Both entrées came out looking amazing. My pasta was al dente and there was plenty ofshort rib in it. The Bronzini was as described. Crispy skin with a moist and flaky filet. The plate was covered in cannellinibeans. Oh so tasty! The only negatives I noted and they 're not deal breakers by any means are the restrooms are singles. Sothere may be a wait on a busy night. It can be a bit loud at times. And lastly, the menus are on sheets of paper along withthe napkins. At the end of the meal we were very satisfied and agreed that this was a great date night location.
Good food. Good service. Recommend making reservations far in advance as the place is small. There is inside and outside covered seating. Pizza is available but only for guests sitting outside. Bar seating is available but limited. Food does take quite awhile to come out but it?s hot and fresh. We had the eggplant appetizer which was phenomenal. We also enjoyed the lemon flavoredspaghetti, branzino and shrimp/scallop risotto. We will be back to try the other options on the menu.
