What James Baber doesn't like about Castillo's Cafe Catering Company:
I came in for, and was also referred to, the Cuban sandwich. It was a basic sandwich, poorly pressed on the grill, moderate ingredients, and store brand mustard with Lay's potato chips. I'm surprised at the high ratings, but it is in a secluded neighborhood. I don't think I'll go back to try to understand why. They were, in all fairness, wonderful and friendly guys. It was a true West Tampa Cuban family food experience. For starters the deviled crab cakes are full of crab meat and had a perfect crispy crust and oh so soft inside. The crab enchilado on pasta was absolutely delicious, and the seafood fra Diablo has the perfect amount of spicy heat. Save room for the best flan you will ever eat. Thank you Raul and Henry !!!
