Trattoria Lu Cardillu - NOVOLI

Io e mio marito amiamo questa trattoria, quindi saremo felici di tornare. piatti tipici sempre di ottima qualità e freschezza, per non parlare degli antipasti della casa che sono sempre una sorpresa così come un bontá. solo coloro che non hanno mai mangiato allu cardillu possono scrivere recensioni negative.

Deliziosa terrazza per un quadrato vivido, parcheggio facile, e il cibo è fantastico! Servire è bene, fare buoni suggerimenti e anche considerando opzioni senza glutine.

We discovered this restaurant by accident and experienced a wonderful evening of fabulous food. The service was excellent, and the price was very reasonable. Do check it out if you find yourself in Navoli.

We ate dinner here and chose cozze gratin, grilled mixed vegetables for primi which were delicious. Then due to translation difficulties we had chosen Involtini del Agnello and Stracciatella di manzo. The Involtini del Agnello which we thought would be lamb meat turned out to be lamb offal, kidney, liver in a rolled up shape, which we couldn't eat, as we do not like offal and the Stracciatella di manzo was very thin strips of fatty fried beef which was also not what we had thought it would be, quite chewy and not enjoyable. The waiter did apologise and discounted the bill removing the cost of Involtnini del Agnello. Maybe we just made poor choice for our secondi, but we did not enjoy our meal here.

A lovely friendly family run restaurant that serves very good food. We were recommended this place by our hosts and had a fantastic meal on more than one occasion. Although we had English/Italian Language communication problems we thoroughly enjoyed all our meals there(3). This place is very popular with the locals and you can see why. The food is good, wholesome, tasty Italian fare at a very reasonable price served by the friendly staff. Highly recommended.
