Tubby's Sub Shops - Novi

The cheese sticks at this restaurant were crushed at the bottom of the bag. I ordered one steak and cheese sandwich and one steak and cheese with mushrooms. Unfortunately, both subs were dry and lacked mushrooms and tomatoes. This happened at a restaurant in Riverview, Michigan on April 21st, 2022 at 8pm.

The restaurant had sticky floors, dirty tables, and various items scattered around the dining area. There were lights out, digital menus were not working, and broken door handles. It seemed like the place had been neglected and needed some cleaning. Most of the issues could easily be fixed with minimal effort. The food was mediocre - the bread was good but the sandwich filling was lacking, with a thin layer of meat. The salad was not fresh and soggy, and the tomato slices on the sandwich were too thin. Prices were low, but the portion sizes were small. Overall, I used to enjoy Tubby's Sub occasionally, but after this visit, I don't think I'll be returning.

Received my sandwich and the bread as covered in mold. I will never visit this place again or recommend this tubbys. I tried calling and was hung up on multiple times. Both of the sandwiches we received were made wrong and one was covered in mold on both sides of the sandwich, the picture below was just a section that had mold.

We ordered a steak and cheese sandwich along with a pizza burger topped with banana peppers. Both dishes were delicious. We enjoyed the food while watching the Ford Fireworks on the river, which made for a great experience.

If I could give a zero I would... I was totally in shock an dissatisfied with my experience tonight... First problem was I ordered cheese sticks along with my subs an fries. Cheese sticks I get are completely crumbled mush together. Get home to find out my subs are so horribly made. Missing ingredients and NOT toasted what so ever!
