We’ve been coming here for around ten or fifteen years. When the food is good, it’s blow your mind good. When it’s not it tastes like most other average Thai restaurants in the area. Fortunately it’s good about 90% of the time. We love the crab rangoon, the pad Thai curry, and the pineapple fried rice. The portions are generous. We always end up with plenty of leftovers. What Tony K doesn't like about Thai Basil Novi:
The taste is good enough but there is barely any noodles and a bunch of bean sprouts, very little chicken probably 3-4 big pieces for 14$ is robbery. Simply Thai was closed and my fields wanted Thai but not sure I’ll be back at thaibasil again. View all feedback.
They no longer serve sushi; which is shown by a handwritten sign on their door.

We ordered chicken pad Thai, Bangkok noodles, and Tom Yum soup for carryout. The lady told us $46.27 over the phone but it ended up being $64 when we went there to pick the food up. We were very hungry so we just paid for it. The chicken pad Thai and Bangkok noodles were good. The Tom Yum was overly tomato-y, like it was tomato based instead of the usual clear broth. I'm not sure I'd come here again because of the price discrepancy. I'll stick with Thai Fresh.
I ordered to-go the beef pho and the pineapple curry. The pho was not authentic and came with broken up sausage instead of cut pieces of beef. For $18, this was disappointing. The pineapple curry had good flavor, but the amount of chicken and pineapple was small compared to the price. I recommend going elsewhere for either of these dishes.
Yellow curry, crab rangoons, and spring rolls are fantastic.
