The food was incredibly overpriced for the quality offered. The tuna had an overwhelmingly fishy taste, so I sent the entire dish back. The salmon sashimi consisted of the tiniest pieces I've ever encountered—three pieces here equaled one piece at other restaurants, and yet it was more expensive. It was almost comical! Bright clean with attentive staff. The first time impressions were eaten here were great. The food was top quality, deliciously presented. Excellent wasabi! Interesting unusual fish offers. We have a reservation for two at the bar for 5:30 before she is super busy. Delicious!
Nice little sushi restaurant in downtown. But I have to agree with other reviews, 5oz saki is very stingy for a serving. Especially when the waiter stated is is plenty dor 2 people. Sushi was good, fresh. No creativity in presentation. Ramen bowl was incredible! Definitely tasty and well prepared!
Where to even start?first of all sushi is made with white rice not brown, second finding multiple scales in the hamachi is pathetic, third $58 for 3 pieces of mediocre nigiri, 2 rolls and a bottle of hot sake is ridiculous. I?ve eaten at a lot of sushi resaurants over the years and this place doesn?t even make the top 25 especially at the prices they charge. I was really hoping that Novato had 1 decent sushi place but apparently they don?t.

The sushi here is amazing!!! You must try the tasting menu at least once. I loved everything we were brought. The dessert is also spectacular.
