Dr. Insomniac's Fine Coffee, Tea, Smoothies Cafe

We absolutely adore Dr. Insomniacs! We used to live just down the street, and it was a regular stop for us. Now that we've moved to Santa Pink, we make sure to visit every time we're in the area. I particularly enjoy their breakfast, while my friend is a big fan of their coffee. They've really created a lovely atmosphere in their courtyard!

The breakfast sandwiches were undercooked. I wanted to place a takeout order. The coffee was good, but I couldn't fully enjoy it with the sandwich.

The restaurant features a wonderful outdoor terrace with ample seating. They offer an impressive variety of breakfast and lunch options for a coffee shop. The suffins, a delightful blend of scones and muffins, are truly incredible!

What’s not to love about this fantastic establishment, Dr. Insomniac’s Cafe Coffee Roastery, located in downtown Novato? It offers delicious coffee, a delightful breakfast, lunch, and bakery items—perfect for any time of day—all within a wonderful ambiance. It truly feels like visiting Grandma's house! The cafe is housed in a beautifully remodeled historic building, which was once the 1893 blacksmith shop and is part of the Porcella family home, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The family running this incredible food and coffee spot has clearly put a lot of thought and love into every detail, making it simply the best!

The burrito was really good! However, the wrapping paper got stuck to the tortilla, which ended up tearing the burrito apart.
