Well, they don 't call it Slow-vato for no reason. Was here on a Friday night around 9pm and there was hardly anyone in there. I know the Novato bar scene is bad, but I forgot how bad it really is. (not blaming the bar for this, just making a point) They did remodel since the last time I was in there many years ago so that was a nice surprise, but I found it weird that all of the lights were on, usually bars at night... Thanks to Mike! I stopped a drink after work. It's my second time in Brown's and Mike worked last time. Honestly, the best local friendly brilliant bartender I have served in a really long time. Everyone knows him, they come in and he knows all the drinks. My shot, Casamigo's Reposado, was given to Mike Special Cinnamon and an orange slice. The best way to enjoy Casamigos, and quite brilliant! Also as a gay man, sometimes quite eccentric I found this one of the most integrative bars in all Marin. At least from the staff (Mike) and (mostly) from the locals. Thanks for the great time and vibes, will be back and back!
Great neighborhood dive bar that feels clean, has pool tables, and a digital jukebox. Prices... I never check ??
Great neighborhood bar, friendly to to travelers. Would (and did) go again.
An ace of a local bar Joyce the owner was there on 7/4 to ensure that all their moats well maintained. The two bartender Jules and unfortunately I did not get the name of the other beautiful lady was cool and quiet under pressure would recommend!
This is a fun neighborhood bar where everyone knows your name!
