What User doesn't like about Padaria e Confeitaria Petropolis:
View all feedback.
While we were in the German part of Brazil, we wanted to have apfelstrudel. we came over this bakery when we returned to porto alegre and decided to try it. the server was exceptionally friendly and helpful, but the strudel. was very disappointing as it was loaded with rusty that we felt distracted by the taste.
It is worth keeping a coffee with cookies, baked. I recommend you to try your special full wheat bread. but always a lively place on the afternoon.
This is a bakery that is supposed to provide premium gourmet bakeries and also allows them to sit on tables and a European breakfast a la carte. the ambiente is great and the decor is very cute. the service is efficient, although not particularly polite, and the whole place is immaculately clean and well designed and organized. the problem are the items sold. the savory (including croissants) are blunt and mushy. the sweet tasty ones are uneven: some are well made and really tasty (like those with a cream made of cocosnuss and pineapple) while others are boring, simple or just inedible. no soul, no explosion of fallen in your mouth. what a grief!
Worth stopping by and having some coffee with cookies, pastries . I recommend you try their special whole wheat bread. Always a busy place in the afternoon though
