Unfortunately it was closed this year because of the illness of the owner. Visited more or less every year since 2011 and always fantastic welcome and food particularly the Knudelsuppe
Classic local food, mixture of Italian and Austrian kitchen. We came for a little break in our bicycle riding day. Had some pasta, soup and dumplings. seat outside, enjoy the mountains view and relax.
A warm welcome awaits at the Schillerhof with generous helpings of homemade soup with dumplings as well as many other regional dishes. Great views of the Rosengarten and Latemar ranges from the panoramic sun terrace; it is hard to tear oneself away.
A great place to stop after a walk. From the terrace you have an excellemt view over the Rosengarten and the Latte mountains. The owner of the Schillerhof is a very freindly and entertaining person with the right snse of humor. Enjoy the local food like Kaiserschmarrn. Will be back
In one of the trekking paths less stressing to be done in this area, with a good 90 minutes walk from Passo Nigra , you will discover this gem that serves unobvious local food , to be enjoyed from the terrace with great view on the mountains . Friendly and smiley service, a piece of sweet heaven in a paradise area
