Duke's - Noumea

Great meal here if you do not want to spend time or money on the really expensive options on Baie de Citrons. First guests to get the food out quickly. The fish burger was amazing with a massive piece of broken tuna in it! The ribbed plate was also huge and delicious. The staff was also friendly.

Came for lunch when we stopped in Noumea during our cruise. I like the atmosphere, the decorations and surroundings of this restaurant, the water view and the retro look. The selection of dishes is very generous and really enjoyed our meal. Only disadvantage is that it can be slightly expensive and the cocktail was not the best, so maybe if there was little improvement, it would have been a perfect experience. Otherwise, great restaurant.

Looks like an American diner and serves classic American dishes such as hamburgers and ribs. Tableware is big, but the food wasn't so delicious. Service wasn't exciting either. I'd just go if you're really hungry.

Probably one of the worst culinary experiences I had. The food was rather disgusting, even considering this restaurant, trying to give western food a peaceful turn. This could easily be forgiven if the service does not wait so dreadfully for drinks, false orders, et cetera. The staff seemed to be everywhere, but there. Nor cheap. Avoid.

It started fine but in the end it was a horrible experience. We got there in the first ones and ordered but waited an astonishing one and a half our just to leave. The service was not slow because everyone that came after and before got served. We asked multiple times where our orders where and got the usual “it I’ll be here soon “. My guess, they don’t care about their costumers because the manager never came to apologize. Only good thing is the waitress paid our drinks. Nether the less it was a horrible experience and I DON NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant.
