Jackie and Mark have truly transformed this establishment into a charming local pub, making them the perfect landlords. It's a dog-friendly venue that often features live music, themed nights, and a delightful little beer garden. Thursday quiz nights and various other events are always lively, creating a fantastic atmosphere, complemented by a great pool room and table. Over the past two years, we've visited as a couple several times and have consistently had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrive, we are greeted with a warm and welcoming vibe. Thoughtful decorative touches and well-maintained facilities have made this place a genuine local treasure. Everyone can come in and feel right at home, plus there's an excellent selection of drinks. This is exactly what the village has been missing for a long time, and it’s the kind of pub we definitely need to support!

I had a disappointing visit to this local pub, which has been a staple for over 20 years but is now being managed by outsiders who seem to lack a sense of hospitality. It's sad to witness its decline. They really need to learn some basic etiquette. This feels like the start of an unfortunate chapter for the establishment. I won't be spending any more of my money there as long as these inexperienced managers continue to run it in such an authoritarian manner. Overall, a very unsatisfactory experience!
