Wow! Just tried this local establishment after being disheartened with the garbage Georges and the overhyped Codscallops have been serving as of recent. Well I'm blown away. I grew up on the northeast coast and I can honestly the fish and chips from here are on par with some of the best I've sampled. Wife didn't realise that they didn't have a card machine (new business) and didn't have cash. Staff advised her to pay... View all feedback.
Lovely chips... but soggy/cold battered sausage. And the pizza was disgusting... smelt awful and looks worse.
I won't be ordering from here again ,first reason being I'm not eating junk anymore ! Second is last order didn't look or taste fresh at all ,,,yet another takeaway I won't use !

Today we visited this chippy for the first time, and wow, everything was perfect! The mixed meat was absolutely delicious, and the burger was cooked just right. To top it off, the two guys working there tonight (15/12/21) were incredibly friendly and greeted us with smiles. Great job, young men! We had been disappointed by another chippy for a long time, so this was a wonderful experience.
I decided to give this restaurant another chance since it's under new ownership. I ordered the cod and chips along with some Southern fried chicken, and I must say it was excellent. The fish was enormous, the chicken was flavorful and tender, and the chips were delicious. They prepared everything fresh for us. Highly recommended!
