The restaurant boasts a stunning interior and exterior seating. We arrived on a Sunday around noon without a reservation and were fortunate enough to secure a table, although it was at the bar, so there was no table service. However, it wasn't too inconvenient. I discovered this restaurant through a Google search while looking for a halfway point to meet some friends between Nottingham and Lowdham. It truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment we entered, the customer service was outstanding. The pub is beautifully arranged with lovely decor, and the menu is impressive. The food was absolutely delicious; I sampled a bit of everything and was thoroughly impressed. This is what great English pub food should be, and I sometimes feel that this country doesn’t receive enough recognition for the quality of its cuisine. I would give the food and service a solid five stars every day, and I would definitely dine here again if we're in the area. A big thank you to the staff on that day!
What a wonderful restaurant! The ambiance, food, and drinks were all fantastic. I was particularly impressed by the customer service; they really know how to treat their guests! I ordered a starter, and it was delicious. The service was once again outstanding. Not many places offer such great customer service, but this one truly excels! I can’t wait to return with some friends to try the entire menu. Thank you for such a great experience—I loved every moment of it!
This charming pub offers excellent food and stunning views! It’s very dog-friendly and even has a special menu for pups! (They really know how to cater to our furry friends!) Be sure to try the pulled lamb starter, as well as the fillet with lobster tail from the specials—you won’t regret it!

Amazing dog friendly place. Easily booked a table with short notice on a Sunday for Dinner. Was busy but not too busy, the service is quick and friendly, the food is always very high quality.
