Sprinters Premier Steakhouse

Have visited sprinters a lot always found food and service good. However visited on Friday , 1st night with new menu and was not impressed. The new menu looks nice but the reduced physical size means the description of meal contents is very small and difficult to read especially for older people who may not have the best of eyesight,this could loose them a lot of customers. The meals were ok , but only ok and in my opinion not up to their usually standard considering the substantial price rises. Initial service was good but vertually no contact after that, which was strange considering they were not really busy and they staff spent most of the time chatting to eachother.when finally asked if the meals were ok ,there seemed very little interest in they the fact that we were not impressed considering it was the new menu debut. We will go back again to see if they have settled in with the new menu, but only once if they have failed to return to their usually standard.john

Good selection on the set menu. Table of 4. All had different starter's all were lovely. All had different mains all were lovely. Nice fresh tasty beer and coffee We're definitely going back and taking more friends And it's 2 4 1 on the set menu

The steak was a little bit overcooked. Eggs and beer were excellent. And I like the peppercorn sauce very much.

Visited here this evening. Waitresses were friendly and were working hard. Kitchen service quite slow and food is pub chain standard at best. Chips were like chip shop chips rather than steak chips. I had the burger and left everything else on the plate. Diners I was with had the mixed grill but said the meat was not the best quality. Not tempted to go back tbh.

All round good place to eat and be. We normally book every Friday for grandparents and 2/3 others for a weekly catch up and the service is always great. Well priced for what you get too. Recommended.
