Contribute FeedbackShanghai Shanghai restaurant offers a mix of Hong Kong and Chinese dishes, with some hits and misses. Portion sizes vary, with some dishes like salt and pepper squid impressing patrons. However, reviews note rushed and rude service along with small, overpriced portions that lack flavor. The authentic Chinese cuisine and attentive staff receive praise in contrast to the dated decor. While some feel other nearby establishments offer better food, Shanghai Shanghai remains a popular spot for those seeking traditional Asian-Chinese dishes in a cozy setting.
Had authentic Sichuan single dinner here, ordered the Chili pot of seafood and vegetable, the hot degree is just okay for me, food portion is massive and very fresh, vegetable covered bean sprouts, cabbage, celery, healthy, and tasty! A small shame that Tsingtao beer is sold out, will be back again!
Food was absolutely amazing. Freshly cooked and large portion sizes. Great prices.
The best and i mean best food i have ever put inna mi mouth, i love this place — the portions are LARGE so don't be complaining about the price. i always get the salt and pepper squid and boy let me tell you it is INCREDIBLE. even the soy sauce is INCREDIBLE. the honey and garlic king prawn is INCREDIBLE. even the broccoli is SEASONED. i dont know where they negative reviews are coming from, dem people ain't got NOOOOO TASTE. i congratulate these hard working women and men because they put work and art into this food. i seriously recommend!!!
