We all had steak and it was cooked beautifully,there were clean plates all round!! I would definitely recommend a trip to this little gem,tucked away near the castle in a beautiful area.

The drinks menu was fantastic but I was a little bit disapointed with the food menu and the food but only because the rest of the evening was so amazing and the customer service was excellent

We booked early (6.30pm) as neither of us like to eat late. When we arrived we were the only people there and when we left about one hour later, we were still the only people there! The building is quite a strange one, I get the feeling it hasn 't always been a restaurant. The starters we had (garlic bread and soup) were lovely. We both had the rib eye steak with a side of chips. I had the bourbon peppercorn sauce which I have to say is the nicest peppercorn sauce I have ever had. My partner had a BBQ once, which he loved but it wasn 't to my taste. It 's a shame you have to order vegetables as an extra side. The service was fine and quick but didn 't have that 'welcoming friendliness to it '. I would recommend to anyone wanting to try somewhere new to buy the offer (on Amazon Local I think) and give it a try.

When we arrived, the place was empty and the food seemed to be frozen. I can't tolerate frozen chips. We also ordered the venison, which was difficult to eat. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
