We all had steak and it was cooked beautifully,there were clean plates all round!! I would definitely recommend a trip to this little gem,tucked away near the castle in a beautiful area.

The drinks menu was fantastic but I was a little bit disapointed with the food menu and the food but only because the rest of the evening was so amazing and the customer service was excellent

My friend... read more I stayed at this hotel for one night to attend a work event in town. I paid £53 for an en-suite room that was conveniently located in the town center. My friends stayed at a different hotel across the road and paid double the price. The room was modern, very clean, and had a refreshing scent. While waiting to meet my friends, I enjoyed a drink at the bar downstairs where I was impressed by the wide selection of whiskies available. I would definitely stay here again, especially considering the great price we paid. I have no complaints about my experience at this hotel.

Mid week treat and what a treat it was. We had fishcakes and antipasto to start. The fishcakes were delicious with a really nice sour cream dip. For mains we had steak and venison. Both were cooked to absolute perfection! Our waiter was really friendly and attentive but without standing over us. We will definitely be making a return visit.
