What Sophia Wilkinson doesn't like about Piccolino Nottingham:
Stay away! Stay safe! I gave them a star because I could not take 5 back... yes, that terrible. The seafood have a terrible smell, the calamari are very salty, soggy, cold and overcooked, they are so chewy that I can't eat them....totaly dissapointing. The pasta is overcooked, it is terribleto eat it, I feel like a eat a mushy porridge, not pasta.... lukewarm and the mussels are smelling so bad.... very very dissapoi... View all feedback.
Great restaurant, chic, crowded, very good food conjugated with very nice staff. the thunfish was fantastic to add a beautiful white wine. I loved it.
Piccolino is my way to italien, as a student in nottingham I am part of the occasional visitor who offers me the perfect opportunity to show what nottingham has to offer. eating was always on a high standard. with well prepared, beautifully presented and good portion sizes. the waiters are attentive and the wine selection is rich in choice. the decor tries to be Italian, but does not try to be hard. in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the kind of place where they like to return freely. recommended for small parties of two or four persons.
Highly recommendedAuthentic, quality Italian food in a relaxing setting with Italian speaking staff and five star service.
Very good dining experience I went there with 2 colleagues on a Thursday evening during a business trop in Nottingham.
The bar is charming and the staff is friendly, although slightly slow. The menu offers excellent choices and the food is good, but it could be a bit better considering the price.
