Menu

A complete menu of Luigi's from Nottingham featuring all 69 dishes and drinks can be found here on the list.

Luigi's presents a blend of dining experiences that vary significantly from guest to guest. While some patrons praise the incredible house white and authentic Italian dishes, others express disappointment in slow service and average food quality. Many reviews highlight a crowded atmosphere with cramped seating, contributing to less than stellar service interactions. Though some enjoy the seafood pasta and homemade lasagna, complaints about tough steaks, overcooked meals, and lackluster service persist. Despite the inconsistencies, there are loyal supporters who appreciate the welcoming staff and inviting ambiance, indicating a restaurant that could benefit from a refined approach to both food and service.

What 20SusanE dislikes about Luigi's:
We phoned to order takeaway pizzas. The person we spoke to rudely told us that he was too busy to do takeaway that evening, leaving us high and dry. If a restaurant offers takeaway it offers takeaway and should not deny customers the option whenever they feel like it. Never again. View all feedback.

It is always a delight to find a genuine Italian restaurant deep in the suburbs of a British city, and Luigi's definitely hits the spot. Long-established and still run by the founder's family, it is evidently very popular with local residents, and it was full on the midweek evening when we went for dinner. We went on recommendation, and fortunately we had booked. Our main course was saltimbocca. Made with thinly sliced pork, rather than the more traditional veal, it was absolutely delicious. Two courses, two large glasses of wine, two coffees, and the bill came to less than £60. No wonder the locals like it so much!

First off the house white is incredible! However the service was incredibly slow and the food was ok. We waited 45 minutes for our starters and then another 30 minutes for mains. When they arrived the steak was tough and the pizza was chewy. It was all a bit disappointing.

Came here for a meal ahead of the Test Match. Excellent food, great service and very reasonably price. The antipasto sharing plate was huge with about ten different types on it. House red at £17.95 for a litre bottle was great value for money. Finally a shout out for Luigi, an excellent host Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
