Description
At this Nottingham hot pot restaurant, diners have reported mixed experiences. While some hailed the exceptional quality of food and friendly service, others faced significant frustrations, particularly around reservations and wait times. Regular patrons expressed disappointment at being overlooked for seating in favor of larger groups, while first-time visitors praised the warm ambiance and diverse menu. There's enthusiasm for the authentic Sichuan flavors and unique dessert offerings. However, it's worth noting that the dining experience can become pricey for small groups. Overall, the restaurant showcases culinary delights but may need to refine its customer service approach.

The ingredients used in the soup are pretty good! Although the buffet only has four rounds, it’s still filling. The waiters are very friendly and polite But the boss sometimes has a bad attitude
This was the second time we had visited and the hot pot buffet was great value, with all of the items that we ordered being delicious! Staff are friendly and attentive. We will definitely be coming back : (We'd recommend the beef tendon
We made a reservation for 7pm the day before and arrived 5 minutes early. The restaurant was busy and we waited for 30 minutes, despite being regular customers who frequented the restaurant at least once a week. Another group arrived for their 7:30 reservation and were immediately seated at two small tables that became available. Despite our wait, the staff chose to push the tables together for the larger party instead of seating us, without any apology or consideration. We would have preferred to be informed if they were unable to accommodate our reservation. Ultimately, we decided to leave as they showed no intention of seating us and lacked respect for our time.
Awesome! Lived in Sichuan for years and can say that this hot pot is really authentic. Definitely recommended for people who love spicy food and want to try something a little different. You can also do a split pot, with one side of the pot having a spicy broth and the other having more like a plain broth if you want to. Understandably, the price tag can be a little daunting for some, but it is really worth it if you're wanting to treat yourselves! The more people you bring, the more worth it it is because the broth is one of the main expenses ; If you're running out of ideas about where to park then Nottingham Uni Jubilee Campus is close by and has a pay and display car park.
