Feedback
Reviews praise Five Guys' fresh, customizable burgers and massive chips but note higher prices, occasional service or cleanliness hiccups, and variable noise levels.
Food was delicious! Bit on the pricey side, but well worth it if you want to treat yourself. Highly recommend for a quick burger/hot dog and fries!
A great place to eat, not the cheapest, but the food is cooked for your order not in advance! Amazingly large portions of great tasting chips too.
As a vegetarian, I found the music at this restaurant to be excessively loud. It made it impossible to think or have a conversation. However, it seems that in the years since, the staff have adjusted the volume to a more manageable level.
This restaurant takes precautions to ensure that all burgers are free from gluten contamination, as they are cooked on a separate grill. Additionally, the fries are fried in dedicated fryers. The staff is well-informed about gluten-free options. It is important to note that the grilled toppings are not safe for those with celiac disease, as they are prepared on the same grill as the buns. However, the staff will inform customers about this when ordering. While gluten-free bread or buns are not offered, customers have the option of having their burgers served in a bowl or lettuce wrapped.
My first visit to the Nottingham location was unfortunately disappointing. The lady who served me was not very helpful, as I requested a burger meal and she told me they did not offer that option. I eventually figured out the ordering process on my own. I ended up ordering for 2 adults and 2 kids, with the suggestion of getting 2 extra large chips which was far too much food. Additionally, the drink machine was broken, so we did not have any drinks. The total bill came to £60, which was more than expected for the quality of food we received. The worst part was the cleanliness of the restaurant. The tables were dirty and the floor in the toilets was wet with no locks on the cubicle doors. Overall, not a great experience.

FAQ
More information
Though portions are already generous, some customers recommend ordering one ‘extra large’ chips for sharing — it’s intentionally huge and can easily feed more than two. Also, staff at this branch are reportedly well-versed in the chain’s gluten-aware procedures and will proactively suggest lettuce wraps or bowls and explain which toppings risk cross-contact.
