Guests have praised the attentive staff and generous food portions, creating memorable celebrations. However, numerous visitors have reported concerning incidents involving rude management and unprofessional bar staff, leading to dissatisfaction. Complaints about unclean glassware, flat drinks, and overpriced, poorly presented food have tarnished the establishment's reputation. While some find joy in their visits, the inconsistency in service quality and customer treatment leaves potential diners wary of returning.
Food amazing and very reasonably priced. We were served by a waitress called Beth who was on a trial shift on her first day. She was amazing. Really efficient, attentive, friendly and with a great smile. Sincerely hope she is now a permanent member of the team.
The restaurant experience was not great. The menu was limited and we all ended up choosing burgers due to lack of options. There were a few issues, such as running out of tomato ketchup and the waitress spilling our drinks on the table without apologizing or offering to clean up. Another customer nearby had their drink spilled on them as well. It seemed like the bar was understaffed and a new team member was not properly trained or supported. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and we have not returned since.
We visited for the unlimited brunch, offering 90 minutes of drinks and food for £25. Meghan provided excellent service, being both kind and attentive. Would highly recommend!
I used to have great memories of visiting the branch in Derby, so when I was looking for lunch in Nottingham, it caught my attention. I arrived at 1pm on a Friday and was surprised to find the restaurant completely empty. I was warmly greeted but then seated at the back of the restaurant. The room was surprisingly cold, despite the mild weather outside. I ordered the warm bread selection, which came with balsamic vinegar in oil and a bowl of sad looking olives. The bread was tasty, but the vinegar was thick like treacle. Next, I had the fish and chips, which was a nice sized portion with hot chips that I could warm my hands over. The chips were crispy outside and fluffy inside. The mushy peas were fine, but the fish had a thin crispy batter and was a bit flavorless and dry at one end. The prices were a bit higher than expected for this type of venue, but it was decent. I decided to skip dessert and left to warm up in the sunshine.
Went in for tea before a gig and was welcomed by a very attentive waitress, took our order and served drinks, Food came piping hot and in reasonable time ,and as there was a4 40% discount off everything made it really good value ,even at full price was still good value as portions were very big
