We took our dog for a walk to the Earl of Chesterfield from Radcliffe for his first pub lunch in the gorgeous sunshine today. While we enjoyed our meal, he curled up under the table... View all feedback.
Popped in for a refreshing pint of Peroni and a coke for my lad. Pleasant location in a lovely village. Single staff behind the bar caused a slightly longer wait due to the other customers queing awaiting food or drinks. due to the exceptionally hot day we had.
Popped in tonight for an impromptu dinner. Great food and good helpings. Extensive menu (about to undergo a tweak). Selection of four real ales. The new owners were really friendly and were proud to show us round. Tables were distanced so it had a nice spacious feel. Large car park. Ignore previous old reviews, the pub is under new ownership. We can't wait to go back and try Sunday Lunch. Highly recommended.
I didn't try it because we just got in for a drink. a real village pub with friendly, warm atmosphere. could see the kitchen and it looked impressive, so can be good to taste the food. since the last time I was there 20 years ago, has improved enormously!
A popular friendly pub in a beautiful small village. come hungry
