Was Zaxx G at Dancing Dragon a mag?
My wife and I stopped in Nottingham and were looking for a place to eat. We stumbled upon the Dancing Dragon and were seated by the friendly staff. We ordered Chicken Curry with the house special rice, as well as Beef Chow Mein. We also tried Chinese beer, which was delicious. The curry was flavorful and full of spices, and the beer was so tasty that I ended up having two bottles. The portions were generous and we co... View all feedback.
What 802emilyh dislikes about Dancing Dragon:
My first and last time visiting this place. 1. Slow customer service 2. There was no manager/supervisor 3. One waiter doing everything 4. Bugs and pests in the restaurant! 5. A MASSIVE SPIDER crawling on my food and they still wanted us all to pay. Even worse, 4 more months were flying into our food and across our table! 6. The waiter has no manners. He talked back to 7 unsatisfied customers. 7. The delivery man had... View all feedback.
This Chinese restaurant is by far the worst I have ever been to. The service was terrible - one main dish came 5-10 minutes before the rest of our meal. When my duck chow mein finally arrived, it was inedible - the noodles were undercooked and there were just lumps of fat. The rest of the meal was just okay. I complained about it when paying, but there was no offer to take anything off the bill. There were no other diners in the restaurant, which should have been a warning sign. I will never be going back - this place deserves half a star, it was truly terrible.

We ordered Chicken Curry with the house special rice, as well as Beef Chow Mein. We also tried Chinese beer, which was delicious. We would definitely return whenever we're in Nottingham again. I highly recommend trying this place - I even left a tip.
I am sorry but this was the worst meal I have EVER had in a restaurant. I cannot understand how an establishment can get just about everything wrong. The welcome was cold, as was the temperature of the restaurant. The table linen was dirty and the whole place had a sort of grubby feel to it. It's like restaurants used to be. The only member of staff was miserable, blunt, uncaring and verging on being rude. The food was worse... we were starving and really tried hard to get through it but it was not to be. Duck that was so fatty and slimy that it was really hard to swallow, prawns that tasted like nothing I have ever eaten before and Beef that tasted like nothing on earth. A glass of water appeared to be £1 (or was it £1.50). On the way to the toilets you pass a Fish Tank how the fish are still alive is beyond me this summed up the whole place the tank was dirty and murky. And the toilets... well.. thank goodness the door was propped open so I did not have to touch it on the way out. (The hand dryer did not work). I wish I had done my homework before going... £37 for two people including a glass of water and a soft drink. And I feel utterly ripped off. Terrible. How can they get it so wrong.
Wow, I never knew Chinese food could be this repellent!! Utterly disgusting. We were forced to throw the whole meal in the bin after only a few mouthfuls. The chicken was almost entirely fat and gristle and the special 'fried ' rice was simply plain boiled rice with some more lumps of gristly, unrecognisable meat...for almost £7!!! Do NOT eat here!
