Well I'm not sure what happenend to this place 10 years ago they were winning awards but when we visited recently after moving away but visiting family in the area I have to say the food was disgusting and thats putting it politely. Maybe they've had a change in ownership over the years but never ever again sorry View all feedback.

The portion of chips is small, there is no proper line system, and the staff lack social skills.
The owner has personality problems and mood swings. Bullies staff and portions size is questionable

I went here for dinner the other nice. A really big portion of food. Me and my partner had 2 x Regular Chips 2 x sausages and a curry sauce and it came to £8. Very happy with the food and price. Will be returning.
Took our fish and chips home and the fish was completely rancid. I took it back to get my money back and they tried to keep the money for the peas and condiments that I hadn't returned. Mental. He then proceeded to tell me that it was my fault as I didn't ask for fish cooked to order. Soz mate, my bad!

Hot eating, fairer price big taste and nice staff
For a tablet from chips and peas had batter bits on top absolutely great heaps were not sugary as some tinted sorts are really enjoyed them. also a couple of cod bites picked up they were religious (wife words I didn't get
There are no more so many good fish and chip stores, but this is one of the best fish and chips were great at any occasion. in any case on my list of takeaways.
Large selection of foods here all freshly made neat portions for the prices, payment is by cash or card that is a great help.
Kebab was hot and fresh with plenty of sauce as requsted. Served and gone withing 5 minutes
