Calverton Fish - Nottingham

The fish and chips at this restaurant are delicious with generous portions. It has been our favorite takeout spot for years.

The food here is excellent and is a great option for those with gluten intolerance.

I enjoyed gluten-free fish and chips all week and they were delicious.

I have bought fish and chips here a few times. Enjoyed it in the past. I convinced my partner to go here again but this time it was terrible. So much so just the thought of having fish and chips again from anywhere makes me...feel ill. The oil clearly needed changing. It smelt bad in the chippy and when we unwrapped our food at home it was such a dark colour and tasted terrible. It really was disgusting.

Meal for for birthday celebration. Ordered in advance for collection and ready bang on time. Efficiently wrapped and served by friendly staff. Excellent food! Still piping hot after five mile trip home and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone present. Great meal which made...for a great night. There are many fish and chip shops in the surrounding area including three in Calverton. In our opinion this is one of the best. Consistently good food, friendly efficient staff and very clean premises. Well done!
