The food here is absolutely amazing! I've been coming here for a few years, and it just gets better every time. Highly recommended!
I ordered a large quantity of samosas for a work fundraiser, and they were a huge hit! They sold out quickly, and many people came back for more. The service was excellent, and I would definitely recommend them for any event!
We've also tried their catering service a few times, and once again, the food is outstanding, and our guests always rave about it! The portions are quite generous, so make sure you have enough space in your freezer for all the delicious leftovers. Unfortunately, the catering service suffers from some of the same disorganization. For instance, there were no receipts provided, and the delivery address wasn't taken despite the order being delivered. I was asked to come into the store to make the payment, and the staff member behind the counter was unsure about the total. It felt awkward to ask for confirmation. Additionally, some items were missing when the order arrived. Despite these drawbacks, the incredible quality of the food far outweighs the negatives.
Like many Indian restaurants, this place has grand ideas, but the execution falls short. While the food was decent, it felt overpriced given the portion sizes. The service was disappointing; the young lady at the front seemed to lack the warmth and friendliness typically expected in a customer-facing role. Her demeanor was cold and unwelcoming, which is not ideal for encouraging customers to return. One customer, who had placed a large order, seemed taken aback by her unfriendliness when she didn't even respond to his 'thank you' as he left, which made him comment on her rudeness. Additionally, some diners received their meals in separate containers, with curry in one box and rice in another. It was quite unusual to see people attempting to mix their food from two containers to enjoy their lunches—one would expect everything to be served on one plate or in a single box. First impressions: the food was acceptable, but the service was slow, and the staff were unfriendly. Many of the overly positive reviews seem to come from friends and family, rather than unbiased diners. As for the samosas, I wouldn't consider them the best. If you're looking for top-notch samosas in Nottingham, I recommend Adnan’s on Berridge Road in Forest Fields. Lastly, the food wasn't labeled as implied in a previous review, so we had to keep inquiring about what was what while we were trying to make our selections.
The restaurant offers very authentic Indian cuisine at a reasonable price. I tried the samosas and kebabs, which were exceptional. The place is hygienic, clean, and serves healthy food. They have a menu that caters to all taste preferences. I highly recommend it for food lovers!
