Description

Nestled in the heart of Nottingham, Baresca is a lively fusion tapas bar that beckons diners with its vibrant atmosphere and diverse menu. While reviewers appreciate the quick and friendly service, some lament the occasional hiccup in dish timing and value for money. Highlights include the renowned miso sesame greens, garlic chili prawns, and delicious empanadas, though some items left diners wanting more. Despite mixed feelings on portion sizes and certain dish selections, the consensus is that Baresca offers a memorable culinary adventure, particularly for those seeking enjoyable vegan options and refreshing sangria. A worthy stop for any food enthusiast!.

Very welcoming and a lovely table for 1 given. Food was delicious and the tapas menu is a good one. Loved the Spanish cauliflower

We went as a part of Nottingham restaurant week and would potentially go back for a chill dinner! Service was a bit slow on one of our dishes (I suspect they forgot) but otherwise friendly service and some decent food too. The Highly recommend miso and sesame greens and garlic chilli prawns… Sangria was nice too… The only let downs were fried chicken and cod tacos, they were a little blah… Butterbean salad was ok but not mind blowing, same with the patatas bravas… Overall it’s ok, not the best but far from the worst! Deffo has a few gems though so torn weather to change to 4 stars…

Great selection on the menu, what we shared all had tasty flavours, relaxed atmosphere and good all round service. Great to see food cooked fresh and in front of you. Ordered from the Christmas specials menu, all flavoursome, filling and well presented. Halloumi fries were top tier! Food came in stages when ready but that's the nature of tapas and it didn't hinder the experience. 4 happy customers

The Spanish tapas at this restaurant are amazing, packed with flavor and generous portions. There is a wide selection of delicious dishes that cater to various dietary needs, such as gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. The menu is clearly laid out with descriptions for each dish. They offer a great variety of drinks, including different Sangrias, Spanish wines, and sherries, as well as plenty of cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The decor creates a relaxed atmosphere, and the service is friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back.

We went to this restaurant early on a Saturday evening in the area, with a reservation. The food and drinks were delicious and we could not fault any of it. However, the service for our drinks was rather slow and we had to ask for the bill. We were surprised to see that a 10% gratuity was automatically added to our bill, but decided not to ask for it to be removed as the food was so good. If the service had been better, we might not have chosen to leave a tip voluntarily. We would consider returning to this restaurant if we were in the area again, but would advise others to be aware of the service, especially during busy times.
