Been coming here 15 or so years and I don’t think I’ve ever n... read more We’ll soon be moving away from Bilborough, and I honestly think Andy’s is what I’ll miss the most. Been coming here 15 or so years and I don’t think I’ve ever not enjoyed the food. Portion size, cost and quality are all fantastic. I’d be hard pressed not to come here when we do move away, and when I’m in the Area I’ll certainly be stopping by Andy’s.

We used to go to a different chip... read more I am a vegetarian, and a very selective eater with a fear of germs. My family and I have lived in Bilborough our whole lives. We used to go to a different chip shop nearby, but we didn't like it anymore. I asked my sister Sylvia where the cleanest chip shop was, and she suggested trying Andy's. Oh my goodness! I am amazed. Andy cooked my chips in a separate oil to prevent cross-contamination. The taste was incredible, so fresh and not greasy at all. The mushy peas and vegetable curry sauce were fantastic. This is the cleanest chip shop I have been to in years, it is spotless. Andy and his staff are so friendly and welcoming, they make you feel like part of the family. In my opinion, this is the best chip shop in Nottingham, or maybe even in all of England. Since returning to America, I have been craving Andy's Chippy non-stop. In my 58 years, I have never felt compelled to write a review before, but I truly believe Andy's chip shop deserves recognition. Exceptional in every aspect. I can't wait to go back. 5 stars.
