During my stay in Nottingham, I decided to stop by this restaurant for lunch. It had a traditional pub look with plenty of tables in cozy rooms. Despite being very busy, there were plenty of parking spaces available. There were a few vegan options on the menu, all of which were good value for money. A lovely Christmas lunch at the Admiral Rodney today. Enjoyed by ex pupils of Pierrepont School for Girls. Approximately 17 attended and the food was served to all almost simultaneously hot and delicious. Thank you to the attentive staff!
Lovely traditional pub with nice relaxed atmosphere. We went for Sunday lunch and booked in advance which I would recommend as I doubt we would have got a table otherwise. At £12.95 for a Sunday dinner I expected it to be better than average. Meat and roast parsnips were fab and it’s great to have cauliflower cheese included with no extra cost, a star deducted for the other veg and roast potatoes for being a bit bland. Overall would recommend and will be returning to try other dishes.
Well earned 5 stars for the renter and coworker of a wonderful local pub. recently there was a funeral and the staff could not do enough for us, they opened up early for us and the buffet was just perfect. many thanks to mark and his team.
Yesterday had a meal with my buddy great eating with excellent service. especially from the beautiful dame that served us from behind the bar! plus point even remembered that we there a few months back with the family
