We... read more This hotel is the perfect choice for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Nosara. After looking at other options, we could see that none compared to this hotel. We were recommended by a friend to try the Gilded Iguana, and we were not disappointed. The service, food, and rooms were all excellent.

The hotel is extremely clean, the rooms are beautiful, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere. The location is also amazing, as it is close to the best restaurants and cafes. This is definitely my go-to place to stay whenever I am in the area.

But if you are looking to unwind a... read more If you have kids and want to let them run wild while you tune out and drink margaritas, then great. This is the spot for you. But if you are looking to unwind and relax and enjoy the pool I can’t think of a worse place to go. Our experience was so bad we wanted to leave after the first night but everything in the area was booked up. The hotel says they are a family hotel, which is fine. But to let the pool area be a complete Disneyland free-for-all of kids screaming and splashing and throwing balls is completely disrespectful to all the other guests. I will never return and will be actively telling others to avoid. I’ve never stayed at a more chaotic and terrible place.

I went for my annual day and not even a friendly reception at the reception they went directly to tell us about the rules of the hotel and that we become hostile when we broken any of the rules. just because we're a young couple, they categorized us inmediatamente. did not feel welcome before booking in the next hotel.
