Absolutely LOVE this place! Looking for a great night out? Great Dane is the place to be, basement vibes when walking in (due to dark decor and furniture) but when one walks out into the courtyard the place completely transforms. Young crowd, loud music and drinks flowing. Recommend it to students, young adults and travelers passing through Joburg. View all feedback.

This is one of my favourite hangout spots in Joburg there's hardly ever a week when I don't come here. I don't eat here very often, but the times I do, I am never disappointed. I usually have the Boerbull, which is their boerewors roll in a seeded bun. They recently added some new stuff to their menu, which I tried I was not disappointed at all. We had a snack basket which comes with sliced sausage, ribs chicken strips. All were lovely, I just wish that the rib bones were a lot smaller cause they are quite tough to eat with the long length. Their drinks are lovely too I HIGHLY recommend their Long Island; which is my personal favourite. They also have a buy one get one free special for their cocktails till 7pm. Definitely one of my favourite places in Braamfontein.
Guys, when you come here you know you're up for a good night. This places rocks on weekend nights, obe of the first nights i went out in jozi was here, epic guys
