A great brunch of Mirza Shakshuka left us wanting more (or at least the recipe)! My partner said it was the best thing he’d eaten in a long time. Praise indeed! Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. We were one of just a few tables who turned up ahead of food service which they started early for us. We didn’t check out any of the games or books on offer but loved how you could buy a houseplant to take away.
We love this place. I was most distraught when the lockdown hit as I could not get my hands on those lamb balls in yoghurt sauce. The marinated chicken thighs are a close 2nd. Cakes are always lovely too. The service is always friendly and fast. Love the decor but understand it's not to everyone's taste. The place has a relaxed Bohemian feel. Go there if you are thinking about. I/we will be coming back as regulars.
Enjoyed a takeaway late lunch for a birthday celebration. On collection social distancing was well organised and observed. Small hitch with two dishes being left behind were very courteously delivered to our door. Food was enjoyed by our small group garden party. I have to particularly big up the Batata Harra, but in truth all dishes and generous accompaniments were delicious and super fresh and tasty. When we are all the other side of these difficult times, I can 't wait to eat in so I can view the pornographic artwork talked of in a previous comment. We could all do with getting out more, perhaps an art gallery? I wish this wonderful local business continued support and success.
