Rude staff and the pub is full of rough people who think they run the pub, they didn't like the fact that I wanted to have a game of pool and made it quiet clear strangers are not welcome
Went to play some pool with a friend, she ordered a coke and I ordered a water, to which the rude lady behind the bar stated that I will not be able to use any of the commodities, such as the pool table as I am not considered a “customer”. So rude, very unfriendly atmosphere, definitely not a go to place for students!

When you're young, a pub is not the first place you would expect to find yourself. However, as the new landlady's daughter-in-law, I had to make the Fiveways pub my second home. In recent years, this pub has seen various employees and owners come and go, but personally, I believe that the newest owner and lady have changed this pub for the better. While they may no longer serve food, the attention to detail from all the staff is impeccable and it's a great spot to enjoy a quiet drink, alcoholic or not. I would recommend everyone to at least make an effort to visit and continue to participate in the spirit of the pub (but socially distant!).
Today I went to catch up with a friend and waited for over 15 minutes to get a drink. The guy behind the bar was busy on his phone, so my friend and I left and went to the next pub.
