Reedham Ferry Complex - Norwich
Reedham Ferry Complex
Description
Nestled next to a popular touring site, this charming pub offers a cozy atmosphere, complete with a real fire. However, a noticeable need for refurbishment is evident. Diners have experienced mixed results with the food; while some dishes like the homemade pie and Sunday roasts received praise for taste and portion size, others fell short on flavor and quality, particularly the seafood chowder and frozen fish. Service has garnered positive mentions, though the presence of pets has caused discomfort for some patrons. Overall, the pub’s unique location and lively ambiance make it a potentially enjoyable stop, despite meal inconsistencies.

Real experience this. A free walk on ride from opposite bank via on of the only remaindering chain ferry’s in the country. A lovely bit of banter with the two operators followed by a gorgeous fish lunch all served with courtesy and pleasantness. We will be back with friends soon we hope.
Lovely venue for our family celebration. Good food, friendly service and fabulous location. A great place to come.
We didn`t even eat there as when we arrived it was crammed full of walkers. We had a table booked for 12.00 at The Fork, but the lady at the bar didn`t seem to have a record of it and said she would clear a table at the bar. We declined and left and asked her to cancel the booking, but she didn`t even ask for our name! Don`t know where the pictures on the website came from as the place bore no resemblance to them. Ladies toilets blocked.
Fantastic location, food and service was excellent and a very good selection of real ale.
