Modern Life Cafe - Norwich

The modern life cafe is located at the western end of the UEA campus in the beautiful sainsbury centre building (which has recently been presumed by its majesty of the queen) while the entire building itself is an art exhibition hall and research location, modern life is the comprehensive dining option in the interior. it works under uea Catering/Campus kitchens, but offers a more formal culinary experience and ambiente as its sister institutions. this and the improved food quality and presentation lead to slightly higher trips. I have some good dishes here, either main or desserts, and service is in the regular well. the best part about eating here is the magnificent view of its massive floor to cover windows. it is no wonder that several private events (high times, receptions, etc. are hosted throughout the year in the dining room.

This restaurant has the best view. the room is huge with a whole wall of glass. the place feels even more spacious than it is already. there are many tables that are still socially distant, I would say. We got a coffee on Saturday morning and I also treated myself with a scoone that was delicious. the staff was very friendly and polite. there were some amazing looking cakes.

Visiting my nephew at the university we wandered through the lovely gallery to the restaurant and decided on a hot lunch. Delicious whole marinaded chicken breast with Caesar salad plus glass of wine. Fruit flapjacks to take away for later! Really tasty and good value. Beautiful setting overlooking greenery and so light and airy. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A great place.
