Hong Kong Chinese Takeaway - Norwich

We ordered several dishes for our takeaway last night and they were all fabulous! Loads of food and great service would highly recommend!

Having been in lockdown for the past 8 weeks I’ve been waiting for the takeaway to open. Definitely worth the wait and a lovely meal enjoyed by the whole family

Really disappointing experience. Have been before and usually fine. Staff polite but clearly overstretched that evening . I was told 25 minutes over the phone but after having taken the money at the shop I was then told no one knew how long the food would be…! Problem is I can accept a delay on a hot summer Saturday but a simple dish of prawn fried rice tasted like a cobbled together collection of burnt leftover scrapings ..inedible . Sorry not coming back

The only place I have have found that comes close is China Star in NR3. This place has the best home made spring rolls and balanced sauces I have had from any Chinese restaurant or takeaway. I have ordered a variety of meals and not a single dish has disappointed.

The wait was long, I was told to pick up my order at 8:15pm but didn't leave until 8:45pm, making me freeze on the way home. I observed people arriving for later pickup times and heard them calling out items well past my scheduled time. However, the food was delicious once I finally received it!
