The decor may be a bit dated, but the friendly atmosphere and delicious food make up for it. The traditional silver service adds a touch of elegance to the meal. With a menu featuring a mix of Spanish and French cuisine, patrons can enjoy a unique culinary experience away from the typical trendy eateries in town. Book a table, savor the generous portions, and experience the warm welcome that regulars rave about. Don't miss out on this hidden gem before it disappears!.
Small cozy. Wonderful food great service. Very recommended
I ordered the mixed seafood platter and each piece was cooked perfectly. The price was very reasonable for the generous portion. My partner tried the chicken and enjoyed the sauce. It was a pity that the restaurant was not very busy that day. It seems like everyone is flocking to trendy hipster spots now. The decor is quite traditional, some might say a bit dated. Perhaps a simple update like new curtains would greatly improve the atmosphere. I truly hope more people come and support this restaurant as there are not many down-to-earth places like this anymore. Don't miss out, or it could disappear soon!
Having been customer of this restaurant for many years and know the owners now as friends when we book a table on arrival, the welcome we get is always very warm and friendly. We tend to open our evening with a drink at the bar while we go through the menus. We like to sit at 7.30 8.00 as we know we are here for the duration of the evening. We almost always have a 3-course menu and the food is always of the highest quality and is always served on your table via silver service. I always start with the same plate and almost always finish the same main with a happy diving sweet. Although there's a little silly coffee in such a later hour at 11:00, but we always do. Coffee is luck when accompanied by Spanish brandy. This place is so good that we actually had a wedding dinner with 26 guests on Thursday afternoon, and we had a few Christmas evening dinners to remember there too. We couldn't say here in this review how high we rate and recommend this Eßerei., for us a 6 star restaurant.
Excellent meal: Scallops cooked in bacon, dover sole for perfection. It became clear that they repeated loyal customers. We'll go back.
The food and atmosphere is authentically Spanish in this family restaurant. You should book a table a have one of their main dishes (which may be a little big for people who east small portions). The service can be quicker and the menu easier to understand (i.e.: they don't have photos of the dishes).
