Everything a... read more We have been wanting to book for a few years now since hearing an advert on the radio. However with Covid we had to wait and it was worth the wait. Everything about the experience was fabulous, between us four we have been to many different restaurants all over the world and this has to be one of the best. The staff (students) were on top form ensuring we were well looked after without being overwhelming. We were planning a revisit while at the table. On the food and drink everything was served and prepared to a high standard and was a delight to enjoy. Thank you and well done.

The menus were quickly brought to us by a friendly waiter who noticed a mistake in our drink order. For starters, we had three servings of salmon and one falafel, which were nicely presented and tasty. For our main course, we all chose the Pork Wellington, which was well presented and delicious. For dessert, we enjoyed an Eton Mess with a delicious panna cotta center and a Cheese and Biscuit plate with a variety of cheeses and biscuits. The meal ended with coffees and a reasonable bill. The service was attentive and friendly, with a hint of nervousness. Overall, it was a lovely meal that not only pleased us as diners but also supported local education. However, we haven't be... read more We live nearby and often go to Debut for lunch, either as a couple or with friends. We've also stopped by on Fridays for coffee and cake. However, we haven't been there for dinner in a long time. Why not, you ask? We were warmly greeted at the door and seated by a server who was consistently polite, attentive, and friendly. The "amuse bouche," a bowl of pea and ham soup, was delicious and quite generous. We both ordered the Chorizo Crispy Egg starter and the Lamb for our main courses, both of which were beautifully presented and incredibly flavorful. A sorbet refreshed our palates before we indulged in the Millionaire's cheesecake, which was rich yet light. We finished our meal with coffee and petits fours. In addition to soft drinks, spirits, and cocktails, Debut offered Adnams white and red wines. We chose a bottle of Shiraz, which was expertly poured by our wine waiter. The young servers were all delightful and seemed to appreciate a kind word of encouragement. They deserve it, as they work hard to provide excellent service. The entire meal was a great value for the price, and we will definitely be returning as evening "regulars." Thank you to everyone at Debut, and best of luck in your future endeavors.
