We ord... read more Upon arrival, we received a warm and friendly greeting from the staff who promptly showed us to a cozy table that was perfect for accommodating our dogs. We ordered the Sunday Chicken Roast and a cheese onion toasty with chips. The food arrived in a timely manner, it was hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. The pub was spotlessly clean and inviting, with lovely Christmas decorations and beautifully maintained toilets. The staff were wonderful and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. While the outside seating and the setting itself are excellent, this pub doesn't really show a lot of commitment to the variety of cask ales. GK 101, and not much more. Good enough for a quick (half- pint on a stopover in Norwich, but no more.

The service, atmosphere, and setting of the hotel were exactly what I had hoped for on their special day. However, the exceptional service we received from Hulya before, during, and after the event truly stood out. She was always smiling and incredibly efficient in her work. I would like to personally thank her for making our evening so memorable.

Two slices of tough beef with gristle, four potatoes, but hardly roasted and veg was pretty poor. Yorkshire pud not up to much. Obviously reheated. No horseradish. Our doggie enjoyed it though. Lovely staff and good beers. Not to be repeated. Will revisit, but stick to what I know tastes good.
