Bourgee Norwich Steak Lobster Luxe Lounge

We made a reservation for lobster, but unfortunately, there was no lobster available. The restaurant advertises itself as a steak and lobster establishment, but they were out of part of the steak as well. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but considering the high cost of a celebrity meal, the lack of available dishes was disappointing.

When you visit Bourgee Norwich, you can expect a great steakhouse experience. The food is consistently delicious, but the presentation can sometimes be over the top. Despite this, the restaurant offers a fine dining atmosphere with generous portions of steak, excellent seafood, and tasty sides. On this visit, the service was improved, but there was a slight delay between being seated and receiving our food. The staff are attentive and courteous. If you are willing to pay the prices of a high-end steakhouse, you will definitely get your money's worth in quality food at Bourgee Norwich.

The service at this restaurant was outstanding and the food was beautifully presented. The prices were very reasonable, especially if you choose from the set menu which offers 2 courses for $17.50. I enjoyed watching the open kitchen and how efficiently it operated, reminding me of Hell's Kitchen. However, the head chef was kind and didn't curse like the chefs on the show. It was amusing to hear him say, "Service please!" every time an order was ready.

We arrived was sat at our table and drinks menu given . Ordered our drinks then ordered our food. 50 mins later was asked if placed food order and was told misplaced our order and given complimentary drinks for inconvenience and our wait. Another 20 mins went by and received our meals. Good food but small portions for my liking and price.
