Description

Shapes Café, nestled above a furniture store, is proving to be a delightful pit stop for locals and visitors alike. While some diners report long wait times, many agree the scrumptious offerings—especially their renowned scones—are worth the patience. Guests rave about generous portions of classic dishes like cottage pie, enjoyed in a warm and friendly atmosphere. However, there are whispers of inconsistency in service, with a few patrons expressing dissatisfaction over cold meals and unhelpful staff interactions. Despite this, the overall consensus highlights Shapes Café as a charming destination for quality food at reasonable prices, perfect for casual dining.

What a moment! 20 minutes in the waiting queue before order then said it was a 20-25 minutes waiting for food. I told the employee we wanted us to have said this at the beginning of the wait. she said there was a communication. but the announcement is just under the food counter and I had already asked 20 minutes. it actually says that how food is made to order, it can take a little longer than expected. the dame before me wanted a scorp, but they all looked badly burned up. she pointed to the least burned and asked if she could have that, and I saw her later and she said it was just broken when she ate it. the food came and we laughed just about the amount of the byhalate on the teller next to the hot baguettes. it wouldn't have filled a spoon. the caffe was clean and the prices were reasonable, but I don't think we're going to visit again.

A few weeks in the caffe for lunch, not a great experience. the food was cold when it arrived and when I returned and asked if it could be warmed again, I got a look that could have been killed. when the food was delivered again, it was warm, left on the table. no note to an apology and certainly no smile. I should have taken it cold and kept mine mouth. a regular visit has now turned into a never-lasting situation along with some other ex-customers through the look of the reviews. what has happened to this once big eating business.
