What Malc at York doesn't like about Adam And Eve Pub:
My favourite pub in Norwich, and not having been for 15 years I headed straight to it, knowing I had 30 minutes before its advertised closing time (more than sufficient time for a pint). However, when I get there I found it had closed early. Very disappointed! Please be aware that while definitely worth visiting, they may not always stick to their published business hours. In addition, they are not open some evenings... View all feedback. What aniedee likes about Adam And Eve Pub:
An historic little pub tucked away in a quiet corner of the city and a handy stop along the river walk. We found the landlady and gentleman behind the bar very welcoming with a good choice of real ales and food. The prices were reasonable and service excellent. The landlady, Rita, also gave us a little leaflet abut the history of the pub and as the oldest pub in the city was fascinating. A small pub with a quirky and... View all feedback.

My friend and I popped in here for a drink after our visit in the cathedral. Such a terrific little pub. I love many of the traditional features.
Popped into the Adam Eve for a pre dinner drink. I believe it to be the oldest pub in Norwich… 13th Century. Quaint little pub, very cosy.

read moreThe historic pub in Norwich offers a mix of experiences, with some patrons enjoying the welcoming staff and reasonable prices, complemented by a well-cooked meal. On the other hand, disappointing reviews mention early closings, lackluster portions, unfriendly service, and overpriced drinks. The setting in a car park and closure during evenings may deter some. However, a quiet location and dog-friendly atmosphere may appeal to others. Overall, the combination of charming history, good value meals, and friendly staff make it a worthwhile stop, particularly for a leisurely afternoon visit.

Pretty cool place. Its not real big, but its nice for a pint and to sit outside and enjoy it. Big car park right next to it too, which is handy.
